12 Hours of Prayer for Palliative Care – May 7 to 13, 2023

Each year the CWL observes “12 Hours of Prayer for Palliative Care” simultaneously with the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association’s National Hospice Palliative Care Week, which this year runs from May 7 to 13^th.  

CWL St Aidan Council members will be praying on Friday, May 12^th from 7am to 7pm for those in palliative care, for caregivers, for medical staff, and that palliative care will be more accessible as an option for those nearing end of life. This has become very important as we see the legalization of and increased access to Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD).

Parishioners are encouraged to join in and pray at home or in groups during these 12 hours.
