Municipal Elections

Municipal elections are this Monday, October 24. As Catholics, need to know what our candidates stand for. This is especially true regarding Catholic School Trustees. These Trustees will determine the policies guiding our Catholic Schools and what is taught to our children. If we fail to vote for Trustees who truly support Catholic Teachings and Values, we could be doing immeasurable harm to young children for many generations to come. Please make the effort to know what the Trustees in your area stand for. For additional guidance, check the Campaign Life Coalition website, since they usually have excellent analysis of candidates for upcoming elections. To ensure your vote for Catholic School Board Trustee, at the polling booth, verify that you are registered as a separate school supporter. If your support status is incorrect, ask for an Application to Amend Voters #39 List. This form may be completed and submitted at the polling station.
